Diego Cake w/ Waterfall - March 2010

Our little friend Ethan (aka DUDE!) requested yet another Diego cake. This time the waterfall was a bit more than I had intended! There were a few more rocks surrounding the base of the waterfall but some sneaky little hands found them and ate them before we took pictures! :)

Kayla's Snowflake Birthday Cake - February 2010

Kayla asked for a snowflake cake. "Just something simple, Mom!" That's all! This was one of the hardest cakes that I have ever done. I baked one full sheet cake and was able to cut all the pieces out of it. It was hard to icing and hard to cover with fondant! But when it was done, I was pleased and everyone liked it....especially Kayla!

Optimus Prime Cake - February 2010

This was the Optimus Prime cake that made for a sweet six year old friend. I was very excited that he could recognize this one!

Dr. Suess Baby Shower - February 2010

Here is a baby shower cake based on Dr. Suess's book; One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. It was a two tier, 4 layered all Golden Butter cake with buttercream icing and marshmallow fondant. At the time this is the only picture that I have of the the cake.

Giraffe Baby Shower Cake - February 2010

Here is a special cake that I made for a very special friend. It's amazing when the little girl that I use to babysit is having a baby of her own!!! She requested a special cake that matched the theme of the nursery. It was a two tiered, 4 layer cake with a little giraffe on top. The cake was both golden butter and devils' food with buttercream icing.
